ABOUT THE PAINTING

On the eve of big change

It's scary, but you have to go forward. It's lonely, but you still need to draw strength from inside. insecurity overshadows your mind, but it is important to keep going, even when, albeit temporarily, you lose faith in yourself. Just go by inertia and that's it. Uncertainty ahead paralyzes the will till you are sick, but you still have to go.

Change is a part of life. The essence of the person himself. A given that can neither be prevented nor stopped.

We have helpers on this path of change and transformation. The first helper is we ourselves. Our clear mind, open heart, believing in ourselves. Self-respect and honesty, decisiveness and a firm intention to get where we planned.

The second helper is... Call it what is closer to your heart: God, a Guardian Angel, the Universe or something else, what's important here is the main essence. I call it the Light. For me, it is both external and internal Light. And they are closely related.

This is what my painting is about, and it has come a long way and got through many different transformations itself. It is also about big and not so big changes in our lives and in our personalities, about ourselves, self-helping to go through a planned or forced path, about honesty with ourselves, about a calm mind that is ready to meet life blows, about eternal love in the heart and the Light that illuminates the road to change and gives hope even when it seems that there is no place to draw it from. The painting is about healing inner silence, and feeling of peace that fills us while looking at the Light and inside ourselves at the same time. The painting looks at us as if saying: "Do not be afraid, go! .. Not all changes are terrible and bring pain and disappointment. The overwhelming part of them, in the end, leads to improvement and growth and opens new horizons. It's proven by the experience of each of you, and by myself.

So I know exactly what I'm talking about..."
