In my creativity, I like to create meanings. Think and feel a lot. Ask questions. And then convey these all to my paintings and viewers.
Such activities require silence and solitude. Therefore, the best working time for me is after 10.00 p.m.
I usually turn on my fav jazz, make a huge mug of tea, hold it in my hands and start thinking. Then I can start mixing paints with a palette knife. Daytime worries are gone. I am creating :-) This is my ritual to get started.
(Family is sleeping, mummy is working:-) )
Sometimes, however, the ritual turns into procrastination :-) I stick to Instagram, then I start reading the news, then my book. And it does not come to creativity. Around midnight I fall asleep :-)
Do you have a ritual to warm up and focus on work?
